Hi, I'm Ashley!
I believe healing, growth, and change occur through gaining insight as well as through emotional processing. I use an integrative approach tailored to meet clients’ individual needs that is rooted in attachment and emotion-based theories. My goal is to create a therapeutic environment that allows clients to feel seen, understood, validated, and valued for who they are. I bring warmth, empathy, humor, and my own humanity (my personal quirks) into sessions. I believe emotions drive behavior, and meet clients at their darkest hours without judgement. I have personally been impacted by trauma, grief, infertility, addiction, and chronic illness. Therefore, I am comfortable maintaining presence with clients in the depths of their emotions. As a therapist, I will sit in the murk with you, acting as an anchor, while we sift through pain, loss, fear, the unknown, etc. Together we will help you uncover/rediscover your truest self and embolden your already-existing strengths.
I am a Denver-based therapist, and a Colorado native. While I have lived in other states throughout the country during various periods in my life, I always find my way back to Colorado. The mountains feed my soul. I live with my husband, son, and three rambunctious fur companions. I love being in nature, and spend a lot of time creating/making things, reading books, dancing, and enjoying time with my beautiful family and friends.

Beginning therapy can be a difficult undertaking. It is often done when we are lost, confused, and perhaps feeling hopeless. Yet, seeking help during such trying times is one of the bravest things we can do!
